| The main beach is located across the footbridge and is patrolled during school and public holidays, however, it is a good idea to keep an eye on the kids as there is often an under tow. The other popular beach is opposite Eastern Beach Caravan Park once again exercise care. Lakes Tyers beach opposite the hotel is also popular with families. |

If water based activities are your idea of a great holiday then look no further than the magnificent protected waterways of Lakes Entrance and the Gippsland Lakes. Easy access boat ramps along Marine Parade (see Lakes Map) cater for all sized craft allowing access to the better fishing grounds. Hire boats and hire BBQ boats are available along Marine Parade. Note: Most Tourist Parks in Lakes Entrance cater for boats.
Good fishing is also to be had along the jetties on the North Arm and the Esplanade call into the local bait shop on the Esplanade for up to date fishing news. |
